Shakes and Smoothies
For a quick and easy protein shake, add 1/4 cup whey protein powder to a glass of juice or milk. Mix and enjoy.
To make a delicious smoothie, blend 1/4 cup Whey Protein Powder with 1 cup fresh or frozen fruit, 1/2 cup milk or water, sweetener if desired, and a handful of ice 9about 1/2 cup). Makes about 2 cups.
Mix It Up!
These are a few of our favorite shakes and smoothies: just combine all the ingredients in a blender. Fruit can be fresh or frozen!
Doctor’s Orders: 1/4 cup Whey Protein Powder, 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt, 1/2 cup pomegranate juice, 1 cup blueberries, 2 Tbsp flaxseed meal.
Green Machine: 14 cup Whey Protein Powder, 2 Tbsp oat bran, 1 cup packed spinach, 1/2 avocado, 1 cup chopped apple, 1 cup apple juice.
PB&J Smoothie: 1/4 cup Whey Protein Powder, 1 Tbsp peanut butter, 1 banana, 1 tsp honey, 1 cup milk, handful of ice.
Tropical Breeze: 1/4 cup Whey Protein Powder, 1 banana, 1/2 cup frozen mango chunks, 1/2 cup coconut milk, 3/4 cup pineapple juice, 1 tsp chia seeds.
