Stove Top Cooking Instructions

Rice (dry)1/2 cup1 cup2 cups
Water or Broth*3/4 cup1-1/2 cup3 cups
Butter or Oil (Optional)1 1/2 tsp.1 Tbsp.2 Tbsp.
* If rice is too firm at the end of cooking, it may be necessary to add 1-2 Tbsp. liquid and cook longer.
Combine rice, liquid, and butter or oil in a pot, and bring to a boil.
Cover with a tight-fitting lid. Reduce heat to maintain a low simmer and cook for 15 minutes.
Remove from heat (keep covered) and steam for 10 minutes. Fluff with fork and serve.
Rice Cooker Instructions: To prepare in a rice cooker, use same water-rice ratio.
We recommend refrigeration for extended shelf life.
